Benjamin Wedro, MD is a board certified emergency physician who practices in a regional trauma center in La Crosse,Wisconsin. He is a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Wisconsin and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Wedro has two careers that run parallel. Aside from publishing research in the medical literature and lecturing around the world, he also has a presence in the world of media and journalism. He has consulted onsite at summer and winter Olympic Games providing on-site medical care and medical background information for both CBS and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. As well, he has worked at the FIFA World Cup and Pan Am Games and was medical director for the Athens Olympic Torch Relay.
